As part of the Archdiocese of Hartford's Mission Cooperative the Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate-Gulu will be visiting St. Ann on the weekend of June 22nd and 23rd. From their website we learn that, "The Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate of Gulu (LSMIG) is an indigenous Congregation of Catholic Sisters founded in 1936 in the Archdiocese of Gulu in Northern Uganda (East Africa)... The Congregation of the LSMIG is based in Northern Uganda and was founded in 1939 by Bishop Angelo Negri, a Comboni Missionary. The mission of the LSMIG is to witness to the love of Jesus Christ to most vulnerable especially women, children, youth and the aged.
