Pro-Life offers the following events:
- A Baby Bottle Drive for Two Hearts Pregnancy Care Center in Torrington is held on Respect Life Sunday which is the 1st weekend in October.
- The 40 Days for Life Campaign is held in the Hartford Archdiocese each fall. Saint Ann requests one of the 40 days. Our ministry participates and encourages parishioners to sign up for 18 hours Eucharistic Adoration and the 12 Hour Prayer Vigil held on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood in West Hartford.
- On the weekend before January 22nd The Divine Mercy Holy Hour is celebrated to pray for an end to abortion.
- On January 22nd the 9 a.m. Celebration of the Eucharist and Holy Hour for Life from 12-1 p.m. are offered for the sanctity of all Human Life. We also unite our prayers with those on the March for Life in Washington, D.C. as we continue to defend life in teh Post Roe v. Wade America.
- On the weekend prior to Valentine’s Day, we hold our “Hugs from the Heart” Outreach for Two Hearts in Torrington. Diapers, wipes, and baby clothes are donated by parishioners to help Mom’s in Need as they choose life for their babies.
- Flea Market Fundraiser to benefit Two Hearts Pregnancy Care Center happens in May. They have purchased a new building and need financial support to continue to provide much needed prenatal and postnatal help to their young mothers. We Walk with Mom’s in Need since they can receive services from this Center an Hope Pregnancy Center in Unionville.

Pro-Life Ministry is on a mission to put an end to this culture of death by advancing aculture of life. As faithful citizens each of us is called to uphold the dignity of every human life, especially the unborn. Once innocent life is protected a renewed respect for all life will follow.

Anthony List will appear with a message for your response. Responding to Action Alerts from Pro-Life Ministry for the Hartford Archdiocese or Family Institute of Connecticut via email by contacting legislators on Catholic Directives concerning life issues. Third Wednesday in March we attend the Connecticut March for Life in Hartford to witness and defend the Truth that all human life is a precious gift from God from conception to natural death.
