Nurturing Seedlings

Nurturing Seedlings was designed to help young parents of children ages 0-5 receive the support, encouragement, and skills necessary to help your child develop spiritually. It will also give you the chance to build community with other parents who are in the midst of raising babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Current research demonstrates that children who grow up with a strong identity of being a child of God are more likely to experience higher levels of emotional well-being throughout adolescence and their entire lives. No matter where you are on your own spiritual journey, even if you’re just beginning, Nurturing Seedlings can benefit your young child and your whole family. (Archdiocese of Hartford)

Volunteers & Donations Needed for Children’s “Mass Bags”

Nurturing Seedlings excited to support our littlest members during Mass through our Mass Bag Ministry! These special bags help children engage more fully in the beauty of the liturgy with quiet, faith-filled activites.

We are currently in need of:

• Volunteers to help hand out Mass bags before liturgy and collect them afterward

• Donations  to keep the bags fresh, engaging, and meaningful for our young parishioners (ideas include small religious themed books, crayons, coloring pages, stickers, or other quiet activities)
