
Food Preparation and Serving at ImmaCare
Mission
- Provide dinner one or two times a month for men staying in ImmaCare shelter. It also helps ImmaCare clients who are helped through supervised housing programs. Collects both food and necessary supplies, clothing, and personal care items for those experiencing homelessness.
- The main course of the meal is made by Saint Ann volunteers in their own homes. Other supplies are collected and all are delivered to the shelter in Hartford and the Outreach Van which delivers to those people living outdoors.
Current Goals And Objectives
To provide healthy plentiful meals and necessary supplies to those experiencing homelessness.
To involve more Saint Ann people to increase donations.
Meeting and Key Activities
- Frequency: Once a month and major collections during Easter and Christmas seasons.
- Time/Location: Everything is dropped off at church. No meetings.

Invitation to Join
- Appeal for new members: There is a desperate need for basics. These include food items (ie cereal, coffee etc.) Also , clothing such as warm sweat clothes, socks, underwear. Any baking is always appreciated.
