We offer you a number of ways to stay connected with your faith and the community of St. Ann that are supportive, easy to integrate into your busy schedules, and worth the time you take to engage them. Let's take a look:
Parents baptising their first child learn about baptism, the community of St. Ann, the folks you'll meet and the rite itself. You'll receive your baptism Go Kit, which conains simple, easy to use items that can help you keep the faith visible and alive in your home as your chiled approaches the age where he or she will begin formal religious education.
Mailed to you periodically during your child's first three years, the letters offer ways to engage your child in ways that integrate growing faith with their growing minds and bodies.
Once a year, generally in January, all families who've had a child baptied in the previous year are invited to stop by after Mass to meet each other, exchange stories, and make new friends. If you're comfortable doing so, you can invite friends godparents and others who'd be interested in meeting people who share the same faith, have young children and want to make new friends.
For most of the year, the little Lambs group meets during the 9:30am Mass on Sunday mornings. Adult volunteers guide the children through a little people's version of the Liturgy of the Word. The purpose of the group is to help you feel comfortable bringing your children to Mass, give you some help managing that, and help th echildren feel cared for in a special way.
Please join us; all are welcome! We promote parent support and preschool/parent friendships in a loving, Christian environment, where caregivers connect with others while their children learn to play, socialize and just have fun. Bring your child/ren to play and meet new friends. All ages are welcome. We are scheduled to meet on the follwing days at 10am in the Activity Room.
