God so loved the world that He gave us His only son. He gave him to us as a pre-born child that dwelled for nine months in the womb of his mother Mary. What a beautiful plan for the beginning of life.
Yet the tragedy of abortion robs children of this gift. Approximately 62 million babies were lost to abortion since Roe v. Wade.
As followers of Christ we can advance the Culture of Life by supporting Mom’s in Need. Please take the time to read a brief article on “Living the Gospel of Life” entitled “Serving Mom’s in Need” by the USCCB, which can be found on our website under Ministries/Pro-Life.
It is the backdrop for our Pro-Life Ministry St. Valentine’s Day Outreach to Two Hearts Pregnancy Crisis Center in Torrington. COVID has caused a lack of funding and more mom’s seeking help from this amazing resource center.
Let’s make a huge difference by donating diapers and wipes. We can’t give hugs with our arms right now but give Huggies and Luvs (we will take any brand) are “hugs” from the heart! They can be left in the baby boxes found in the Gathering Space until Sunday, February 14th but we will accept them until February 21st.
Thank you in advance for your gifts from the heart!
