If you’re an adult curious about the Catholic faith, who:
+ has not been baptized
+ was baptized in a different Christian tradition
+ was baptized Catholic and have not received the sacraments of First Eucharist and Confirmation
you’re in the right place!
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), is the process for exploring becoming Catholic.
It all begins very informally with the Inquiry stage, where you meet casually with a Companion from the parish, to talk about what brought you to us and what areas of Catholic life/belief you'd like to explore. If you're ready to go deeper, our team leads you through different stages of learning about, living and worshipping the Catholic way, at your pace. For those who choose to go further, participants undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation. If you are interested, or would like more information about OCIA, please contact the Parish Office and we will put you in touch with someone on the OCIA team.
